Introducing EMIs for International Flights

While the cost of an international flight often goes up with time, your bank balance or credit card limit usually goes down! To ease the load on your wallet, MakeMyTrip.com now let’s you pay for your International Flight tickets through simple EMIs (Equated Monthly Installments) using your credit card. Here’s what you should know before planning your next international trip.

EMIs on what? We have introduced the EMI facility on all International Flights bookings. Holiday Packages, Domestic Flights and Hotels will follow soon.

From where? Currently, the EMI facility is available on credit cards of ICICI, Citibank and HDFC, covering more than 50% credit cards in India.

For how long? Using the credit card of any of the above mentioned banks, you may choose a payback period of three, six, nine or 12months.

Do I pay interest? Good question, but the answer is NO! Payments through EMIs are completely interest-free. Your payback tenure can be anything from three to 12 months, but it will be interest-free.

Any extra charges? There is a nominal transaction fee for availing the EMI facility, which is  lower than what any other OTA (Online Travel Agency) in India charges.

We let you fly to just about any destination in the world and pay for it through EMIs. What’s more, buy roundtrip tickets on MakeMyTrip and save as much as 20% on the airfare. Of course, you can still avail the convenience of paying through EMIs!
